Good, Better, Best

This week was good. So much has happen that it doesn't seem like all of it happen this week. Something that I have been learning is Good, Better ,Best (something from Sister Robinson) and applying it to what we need do to for the day and what the best things is. It has been cool to apply it to everything. This week we had a lesson with Candice. It was the best and most spiritual restoration lesson we have taught! It was awesome! We asked her to come to church and she said come next Sunday. I am so exited to she her there. She is just loving what we are teaching. We also found out where Bailey lives! So hopefully we can find a time to go and see her this week. We had a bible referral so we went and talked with Benita. We gave her bible to her and she asked me what was in my hands ( the Book of Mormon.) So I taught her about the Book of Mormon! It was so cool. She took the Book of Mormon as well. There was a devotional on Saturday, and a member of the seventy Elder Costa and talked with us about parenting. It was cool to see how the things he talked about applied to me now and will apply to me when I am a parent. He talked about how the best way to teach children is through example, and showing your children you love them, not just saying it. It was a really good devotional. On Sunday we set a goal to find 5 new people to teach that week and we only had 2. Sister Robinson and I both knew that we would be able to find 3 people yesterday. So We pushed studies off until night and went out right after church. We picked a road and started tracting. We spent 30 minutes and found 1 person with interest. Then we got prompted to visit a former who was in the area. He wasn't home but, we thought of a former family who lived on a street we went tracting a couple weeks ago. We went there and saw a girl sitting on the side of the road. We went to go talk to her, after a couple minutes her friend sat down next to her and was interested too. We taught them the restoration and gave them each a Book of Mormon. We set a return appointment and went to an appointment we had set up. The guy with the appointment wasn't home but a young girl let us right in because she wanted to learn more about Jesus Christ. She said she was doing hair but we could come in and talk still. We went in and there were 3 other girls in the room (4 all together) we started talking with them and taught them the Plan of Salvation. They all ask really good questions and where all wanting a Book of Mormon, we have then each one and set a return appointment. It was crazy. We got 6 new people to teach yesterday because we where willing to put forth the work to find 3 new people and we were willing to follow the prompting we got. I know it happen because we decided what was the best thing to be doing. I know that Heavenly Father is wanting to help us everyday to accomplish things, I know that if we ask we might get some blessings but, if we show that we are willing to put forth the work to accomplish our goals that Heavenly Father will be there every step of the way. Even when He sends you on a scavenger hunt. I love my Heavenly Father and I know that he wants what is best for me and is willing to help get me there. I love ya. Sister Kemp. 1.
