Happy Fall Y'all! Even though I feel like I am crawling out I have survived my first 12 weeks. It is crazy how time flies and seems to stand still all at one time. But I am going to focus more on being in the moment and focus on all the good around me. I would invite y'all to do the same. To spend a couple minutes each day to appreciate what is happening around you. I haven't been doing it long or even much. But when I do it makes my day better. A lot has happened this week and it has been good. APRIL got baptized on Saturday. It was so cool she was so excited and so ready to be baptized. She asked her younger brother Cody to do a talk. Cody just got baptized last month and has such a strong and powerful testimony. It was so cool. April was my first baptism. It was such an amazing experience to watch someone I have been teaching step into the waters of baptism. JASMINE she accepted October 20th to be baptized and she committed to obeying the Word of Wisdom. She is ...

Save he shall prepare a way for them

Hey Y'all! This week has been pretty good, and really busy. We met lot of cool people, and have seen a lot of miracles. Today is not my normal p-day, we had a Mission Social. It was pretty fun and took most of the day but I am no glad I had this time to relax. We had lunch with Sister Barnett and she had just come from the dentist. She was telling us how her dental hygienist was going to give a Book of Mormon that someone gave her husband to Sister Barnett. But Sister Barnett told her "No I have enough. You need to read it." And she told her all about the book of Mormon while she was getting her teeth clean. We asked what her dental hygienist name was and she said Mary Marconi. I am not sure if I told you but we met Mr. Marconi (Mary's husband) and gave him the Book of Mormon. So after lunch we went over and set an appointment with Mr. Marconi and his wife. We taught them more about the Book of Mormon and how it came to about. We started teaching a former Debbi...

Hello. This week has been mighty fine. We did a lot and it is always so hard to condense it and to find the words so y'all will able yo actually know what happen but I will give it a shot. Also a heads up for next week I will be at a Mission Social and that will be on Tuesday so my email will be coming in on Tuesday. Monday we had a appointment with April but her brother was sick and she didn't want us to come over and get sick. So we ended up doing a lesson over Skype. It is so awesome that we have the technology to do that. We asked her to be baptized and she said yes! She will be baptized on the 22nd of September. We have been doing Skype lessons with her throughout the week also. It's beenpretty neat. On Wednesdays we do a Book of Mormon class at the church for anyone who wants to come. It was so cool this week we had 11 people there. ( 10 actual there and then the Elders skype someone they are teaching in.) Also we went over to Robbins house and the Elders gave...

Hi y'all! A lot has happen this week. We have been doing a ton of service this week. We are asked to do about 10 hours of service a week and we hit that this week. It's a lot of work. Anywho it was really fun. I love serving people it brings me so much joy. One opportunity of service this week was helping a recent convert with her reading. It has been really fun to see her improve. Another service opportunity we had was helping a lady in the branch Sister Soto make tamales! I learned how to make really good tamales! It was so fun. We mopped Sister Barnetts floor. I am just so excited to do service and to serve the branch members. We have been biking everyday for our workout in the morning, and we will go through the neighborhood behind our apartment complex. We always rode past this one girl and on Wednesday we stopped and talked to her. Her name is Zoey and she seems really interested. We went to Wal-Mart during a dinner break to buy stuff to make a pumpkin pie for S...
