Knowing that thou wilt also do more than I say

Hello y'all! This week has been good, a little crazy but good. I picked up Sister Kulikowski on Tuesday. It was strange to come with one companion and leave with another but Sister Kulikowski is awesome. We met Kenny this week. We knocked on door and he was really interested in what we had to say. He had a pretty bad stroke and doesn't really understand what we are saying but we asked him how he felt when we talk with him and he said "good". We where able to testify that he was feeling the Holy Ghost, even if he didn't know what we were saying. Donny stopped us walking on the street. He wanted to know more about the Church. We gave him a Book of Mormon and he said he would read it. We went finding on a street a recent convert told us to go and most were not home. The people who were home were not interested at all. Finally the last house we knocked on a lady named Ginger open the door and let us right in. She had some friends who are some strong members of the Church and friends who weren't has strong and she had a lot of questions about a lot of the controversy going on in the Church. None of which I knew was going on. We answered her big questions and then she jokingly ask "If I didn't know anything and this was out first meeting, what would be your little spill?" We told her it would be different with everyone because everyone was different but we would bring it back to the Book of Mormon. We testified of the Book of Mormon and the spirit was so strong. Sadly her husband and son walked through the door and we lost Gingers attention. So me might try her again later, her heart seemed to be softening when we were talking. I study Pauls epistle to Philemon this week and verse 21 really struck me. It says: 21 Having confidence in thy obedience I wrote unto thee, knowing that thou wilt also do more than I say. It made me want to do strive better and do more then I could do without being asked. To be so obedient others will trust me to get a job done. It reminds me of Ammon when he was a servant for King Lamoni he was doing what King Lamoni had command him to do and he was surprised. In Alma 18:10 it tells what King Lamoni says. 10 Now when king Lamoni heard that Ammon was preparing his horses and his chariots he was more astonished, because of the faithfulness of Ammon, saying: Surely there has not been any servant among all my servants that has been so faithful as this man; for even he doth remember all my commandments to execute them I am working hard to be a servant of the Lord like Ammon to remember all the commandments and to execute them with exact obedience. I have been doing changing and doing little things to be a little more obedient each day and it had made a big difference in how I go about things. I know as I continue to be more obedient that I will change and influence more then I thought I would. I love ya! Sister Kemp.
