"...weak things become strong..."
Hello!
This week has been pretty good. We have had a lot of rain these past couple of days. I am glad that it has started to cool down.
On Tuesday we had our district counsel in Blytheville. It was really cool. We saw an old Grey Hound Bus Station. Sadly we didn't get any pictures. Then we had exchanges afterwards and that was a fun little adventure.
We met MD she is super cool. She was really interested in the Book of Mormon and asked for one before we could offer it to her. We have another lesson with her on Tuesday.
We went and tried to see Jasmine and her boyfriend Lavelle answered the door. He was glad to have finally met us. He asked us what the Book of Mormon was. He really like the Book of Mormon and asked a ton of good questions concerning it.
We had an awesome lesson with Robbin we were able to find out and help her with one of her major concerns, she is getting more ready each timenwe go over to accept the Gospel more fully.
We will start teaching Payden a seven year old who Grandma is a member in the Branch. He will turn 8 next month and he'll have to take the lessons before he gets baptized.
We had a Fish Fry on Saturday! It was so good. Brother Tucker is a great cook. It was fun to be there at the fish fry and be able to have a more relaxed activity with the Branch.
Today we had a Zone p-day and we went to the National Civil Rights Musem and had lunch at Central BBQ. It was a pretty great day.
This morning I read Ether 12:27 and it really stood out to me that even Moroni struggled with his own weaknesses but found comfort in the scriptures. We all can be able to find peace in the scriptures if we set the time apart to prayerful read and study the scriptures. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and is the Word of God. I know that we all can recive that same anwser by praying about the Book of Mormon with a sincere heart.
I love ya.
