I AM GETTING A NEW POT!
Hello!
A couple weeks ago Sister Kulikowski and I were talking about how us missionaries are like plants in pots we are place in a pot (Area) until we grown has much as we can then we are placed into a new pot (transferred). So I am getting a new pot! I will be heading to Monticello, Arkansas tomorrow. I am excited to go there and grow some more. I am glad that I have been able to serve in West Memphis and sad to leave but I am excited for the adventures I will have in Monticello!
Sister Kulikowski is awesome. She has taught me a lot. So much I can't even think of the words to describe it. She is such a hard worker and you can tell that she loves the Lord. I am grateful I was able to serve with her. I am excited to get to know Sister Garner.
We met Auriel last Sunday and we went to our return appointment on Wednesday. It went so good. We where teaching and she was surprised about how she hadn't learn this and how simple it was. When we recited the First Vision and when "This is my beloved Son, Hear Him," was said she almost jumped out of her seat because she recognized who was saying it! We asked her if she wanted to be baptized she said "I have already been baptized but I probably need to be baptized again." It was such a great lesson.
We had dinner with Sister Rains this week and her husband wasn't going to be there so she invited her sister-in-law to dinner with us. Her sister-in-law is a former named Jennifer and she was asking questions about sealings and how she can be sealed. We taught her some and gave her a temple and families pamphlet. Hopefully we can set up a time this week to go and teach her more.
On Thursday we were getting ready to go rake some leaves when Monique called us. She was going to cook a turkey and she didn't want to stick her had inside it to take the neck out. So we went over and helped her.
We went to Wynne yesterday and had lunch with Sister Justice, she asked us to help her put up her blinds. That was fun.
I know that this Church is the Christ true Church. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. I know that I have come to a "knowledge of my Redeemer" by studying the Book of Mormon and by applying its teachings to my life. I love being a missionary and serving the Lord.
Love Ya! I got to go back to packing! Sister Kemp.
