One Hot Summer
Hello! This week has been hot to say the least...
Just kidding it has been pretty great. It was transfers this week so last Monday was crazy running around trying to see people hemming dresses having burgers and packing. We were up packing and I got a little frustrated with all the stuff to pack that I went to bed. Luckily there wasn't much left.
On Tuesday we dropped off Sister Freeman and I picked up Sister Hyer. Sister Hyer and I where companions for a couple days until the trainers/ Trainees meeting. We saw a couple of members and went to volleyball one last time. Wednesday was the same ordeal but with Bible study at the end of the night.
Thursday was the Trainers/ Trainees meeting. They switched the time to earlier so most of the trainers ended up being late... awkward... I am now the proud companion of Sister Sadlier. Sister Sadlier is awesome! She will jump right in a door approach even start some. She will add things in dinner thoughts and is here to work. She is having a hard time with the heat and biking. We started just walking the past couple of days just to get her used to the humidity. She is a trooper though.
We haven't met most people the Elders have been working with But we did text Christy (someone the Elders have been working with) trying to set up an appointment she said she was busy so we invited her to church. See said she would see. She texted the next day saying she would come and she did! She said it was different then her church. Hopefully we can get an appointment soon and find out what she thought. This is her second time coming in a row. She honestly seems so golden. She told us her aunt was a member and remembered being curious about the religion so when the Elders knocked on her door she opened right up.
I know that I am a literally child of God. I know there is a lot of power behind knowing that. I know that Jesus is the Christ and that he was sent here to live and die then live again so I too could live again. Jesus Christ will help me stand spotless. I am so grateful for the knowledge of the true church. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet that he restored the priesthood keys and those key are held by President Russell M Nelson.
Love ya. Sister Kemp.
